37signals Gig Board or visit the Job Board

We have immediate project work and need two types of professional help (well, two that are programming-related):

We need standards-compliant, elegant front-end code, built with a strong understanding of the RoR framework. We like it if the code looks good in browsers, even IE 6. (Sorry.) Nevermind that certain pages of our own site are kind of busted in IE. (Did I mention we are looking for additional help?)

We need back-end work using RoR to deploy e-commerce features, community features, etc.

This is a single contract if you are a superstar and do all of this stuff well.

We may be able to tailor to your availability somewhat. Successfully completed contract work would probably lead to more, or (hopefully) permanent placement in lovely Corvallis or Portland Oregon. Which are like, #1 and #2 best places to live in the world according to all the important indices. This listing is not a job offer, just a contract request for now.
