About You:
- You have a love for all things technology and have a hands-on background.
- You have grown teams in technical start-ups and/or computer software companies.
- You can write captivating job postings. Hopefully better than this one.
- You can find A-players, but they seek you out first because you know how to make it clear that this is where they want to be and that’s the word around town.
- You know how to screen for the right technical hires: raw talent, the right values, hungry to learn, driven.
- You consider recruiting procedures to be malleable as needed to close top candidates.
- You’re sheer presence attracts the brightest people on blogs, campuses, and obscure places the right people feed their passion.
Overview:
- Create an aggressive recruitment strategy.
- Full life cycle recruitment for technical candidates.
- Construct job postings that are interesting and unique.
- Find unleveraged channels for hiring.
- Work with outside recruiters until your talent and success render them unnecessary.
- Interview and filter candidates.
- Attract talent to Coderyte, collaborating on developing our recruiting brand.
- Proactively predict future employee needs and act on them to reduce company growing pains.
- Develop long-term relationships with universities to be a magnet for their best and brightest upon graduation.
Musts:
- Must be able to work onsite in Bethesda, MD.
- Previous experience growing technical start-ups and/or computer software companies.
- Must be able to understand technical requirements of software engineering and engage in detailed conversation with brilliant and innovative hiring managers.
- Can effectively communicate the benefits of CodeRyte to candidates.
- Positive, problem solving attitude.
- Understanding of recruiting best practices.
- Know the competition, understand what it will take to get the best people before they do, and work with leadership to create the culture that wins.
- Thrive on multitasking in a fast paced environment.
- Team player attitude and a huge sense of fun.
